Poor trolleys...

I passed lots of miss placed trolleys on my bike home, I felt a bit sad for them.

I tried to experiment a bit here with my colours. As I love observing natural lighting I'm always painting with realistic colour palettes, so I thought it'd be good to try something a more stylised.

I tried to be a bit bolder in the colours I used and more constrained with the overall palette. I don't think I've achieved a stylised look as such, but I quite like the result anyway. It was interesting to do.

Cool sketch Annes and really nice choice of subject matter. Painting under the yellow was a great way to show mundane subject in a new light (literally). I think the trolley itself is very nicely stylised. It actually has quite a bit of personality. Like a pit-pony or beach-donkey, abandoned to its fate after the hard work is done and the lager has been safely delivered back to the dorms. Tesco should set up a trolly sanctuary on the cathedral roundabout.

Wow, impressive work, especially in your portfolio.
Great range as well. Your layouts for Time Trap have been on the wall for years, admired by many generations of Aib animators!
